is music underrated? music has become more accessible and readily available than it has ever been before and yet it feels harder than ever to meet someone with actual taste. i think the biggest issue is people who always stay in their lane and are never willing to go outside of their comfort zone, i've got plenty of music loving friends guilty of this and i just don't get it. even /mu/ feels like it has taken a considerable dip in tru patricians with something of value to say and quite frankly im finally getting drained by your pedestrian taste.

>is music underrated?
no its overrated.
films and literature are underrated.
capeshit and harry potter books are the cancer of society
>fixation on ratings
Why does this mental defect cripple 4chan boards?

the way i rate music is either
A)music i like
B)music i don't like
C)music i don't understand
i think the numerical rating bullshit got completely out of hand and i think a lot of people hide behind ratings because they're insecure with their own taste.

This has to bait, because nobody is this autistically detatched from people.
I mean, who genuinely gives a shit? Music is pleb as fuck and who cares if you can (or can't) get someone into your paradigm of taste. This is coming from a session cellist.
idk mane recently i found a few buddies i share a lot of interests in common, and one of them is music so it's our little niche thing. imagine if everyone had "good taste" or whatever that'd be weird.
