Hey check out pegasuses-xl. Not current, but contains members of bomb the music industry, we versus the shark, cinemechanica and some others but they are a genre defiant band that I've found fits in and makes more sense now than when they were around. Their earlier stuff is synth-punk and is some of the best stuff from the genre. Psychic entourage and the antiphon by them are further steps outward in their experimentation but contain some of the best songs these artists have ever had anything to do with. Really they combine all those genres you mentioned into a fluid and shifting sound (sometimes at the drop of a hat). Might not be for you, but I feel you on needing more things that don't sound derivative so I figured I'd try.

It's because we stopped incorporating real people and real instruments into our music. All the bleeps, bloops, and thug niggas out there can't make anything wholesome and human. The underground these days is full of fake ass fuckboys who think they're the next big thing, but really they're limited by what music has become. If they're not trying to ape some avant-garde nobody from 4 decades ago, then they're competing with them- only viewing their music as a variant of something else. Back then, back in the classical days, musicians created their art as an escape into a world of their own. Nobody does that anymore in this fake ass society, sadly. Music has a lot to do with how society is at this point in time and honestly it's reflective of what's going on.
Think about it.
Millennials got fucked over by their boomer parents with the recession in 2008. Sooo they have to honestly deal with a lot more bullshit than their parents. They probably have shitty jobs, shitty homes/apartments, and they want to escape from that with catchy songs. Right now rap is super glamourous whether or not they talk about killing drug dealing or whatever. The production sound is super clean and poppy. It also speaks to them on certain levels. Also, it's very exspensive to be a musician or a band right now. You have to buy all your equipment and everything. To be a rapper or edm producer all you need to make music essentially is a laptop and a mic, make a song in 15 minutes and upload to SoundCloud. It's honestly not that hard to produce an online hit rap record on Soundcloud. Soo boom every kid in their basement or bedrooms are throwing away their guitars in favor of a DAW.
And that gets us to our final point. Back then if you wanted to be a famous (and really good serious) musician. You had a lot to risk basically you're whole life.
Nowadays that risk is still there but there's not that much pressure how it used to be. People just don't take it that seriously right now because they have more important things to worry about. Bills,food, educations, jobs etc.
All we can hope for is for Gen Z and the tail end of millenials to put out amazing music.
