Hey /mu/, first time on this board but I have a question. I've been trying to find a (I'm going to fuck this up) slow, grungy kind of genre. Like Deftones, Sunny Day Real Estate or Abandoned Pools. It's comfy as fuck and would love to hear some more bands like them. I tried to look them up and they all come up as Alt-Rock but that's so general that it could be anything if I Google it. Is there a specific genre for this kind of music or do you guys know of any groups like them?

one of these might be what your looking for. but it would help if you were a little more descriptive with what qualities you're looking for.

Exactly stuff like that! Thank you anon. I know I sound retarded but I can't get more descriptive than those. Songs like the Clone High theme or Seven I like a lot of that kind of stuff also the stuff you posted.

check out their discographies if you like what i posted. just fair warning that mbv doesn't start getting their trade mark sound until 1988. do you want more stuff in the vein of this? more catchy or more heavy or more light or more dream like?
