Why are the stereo mixes always so shit?
Especially Pepper's mix. I can't stand it. I mean, in the car, it's fine, or played out loud, but through headphones, it's just plain awful. Why would anyone think having only John and Paul singing in my right ear, and the piano/guitar in my left ear was a good idea? It feels lopsided, and it just doesn't flow well at all.
Does anyone have a mono copy if the album?

It's Mono, 320 mp3, correctly tagged and checked. I've been listening to this for months now, best version I've found
And i agree, mono is better with sgt pepper
2017 remix is GOAT version

How¡s the new version the GOAT? Poor dynamics, overly saturated highs and low with almost no mids and fucking Stereo.

You have a rare way of arguing about anything.

Much better than the 160kbps mono version in the sharethread

Stereo mixing was new at the time and no one really knew how to use it well, nor did they really care (The Beatles were absent during the stereo mixing sessions unlike for the mono ones).
