Anthonys vocals are kinda buttrocky but the progression he has taken vocal is impressive for what they were playing in the first few records
The chili peppers always had good instrumentation backing them up
Even when froosh wasnt baking them up they had the impressive likes of navarro and slovak on their side and even this josh guy isnt that bad.
They have a normie audience but their love for music (especially flea and frusciante) is what impressed me and lets me enjoy their albums

I really liked them when I was young, inspired me to take up the bass
I still like them but maybe not as much as I used to but I do like them
I don't expect /mu/ to really have much love for them so I don't really bring them up

Shane powers loves them

Saw them a few weeks ago and it was a fun show

I really don't get the hate for them
They're not amazing, but they write some catchy songs, and Frusciante and Flea are talented dudes
I'd rather hear their music on the radio than most other popular bands
