he's from /mu/, actually. apparently he got the idea from one of those "fantasy genre" threads. i had no idea he'd gotten as big as he has though, saw he was supposed to be playing roadburn or something like that.

as for the music, the idea is solid but the trap elements feel forced and "separate" from the rest of their sound. if they were removed i wouldn't mind at all.

cute. in all honesty i think z&a is gonna fade pretty quick unless they drop a decent f/l, their gimmick is novel but i don't think it's a viable long term thing.

they can stretch one album's worth of creativity into a career, a lot of metal acts did that pretty well
but yeah the problem with appealing to hipsters is that they're not as loyal as metalheads
