One of the GOATs, and definitely the best Pop Rock band of the 70s. The Move are also great and underrated as fuck.
I always did find it a bit of a shame that Roy Wood basically got edged out of the band by the manager. I think if the duo of Lynne and Wood lasted then ELO would have gone to an even higher level.

As long as we're talking ELO... do you think Bev's drumming is not as good in ELO as it was in The Move? If so can we blame it on Jeff Lynne's songwriting?

Honestly, if anyone of the so-called Classic Rock stations here in the US played a song by The Move, I would go "FUCK YEAH!" and turn my speakers all the way up. Especially if I were driving.

Went to see them last week with my dad, not really listened to them so I was surprised how many songs I was familiar with.

Performance wise it was bloody flawless and sounded great.

Jeff Lynn is an underrated genius,
