Is there something similar to this album, female vocal and catchy rhythm. Doesn't need to be emo or related to the theme.
Rihanna/Sia/Beyonce?

It sometimes reminds me of groups from the late 2000s/early 2010s who were more of the Indie Pop/Indietronica persuasion like Two Door Cinema Club, but those groups were led by male vocals. Still, Paramore somewhat deviates from that sound. At the moment, I can't exactly think of any good contemporary New Wave influenced Pop Rock with female vocals, though there are for sure some examples out there.
That said, After Laughter is Pop Album of the Decade, so we'll probably not find anything as good even if similar stylistically. ;_;

The dust hasn't settled on After Laughter yet, but it's very good. ArchAndroid is a classic right now.
