I can't bring myself to practice anymore, every time i pick up my guitar or bass, or sit down at the piano my mind just blanks, or if I do manage to hammer something out I hate it, or it bores me. Any advice on how to get out of this creative dead-zone?

take a break. this happens to me sometimes aswell. in the end i put it away for a few days and my mind drifts away from it.. which helps cause when u return it feels great and u get that rush
