I'm the same, OP. You're not alone. I try t concentrate on the music but I still cannot recall what I just heard afterwards. Maybe it helps you thinking of it as a stream of consciousness, not thinking about how much you will remember but just letting yourself get swept away by the sound you're hearing in the present instead.

On first listen you have no idea what to expect from this straight like 40-60 minutes of music, it's a lot of new impressions.
Compare with listening to a new single, it's easier to remember because it's just that one song filling your recent memory.

I think my problem is im listening to a shit ton of new music lately (1-2 albums a day for like 2 months) so the shit I'm listening to is sort of "competing" for memory or whatever
