I don't get it, /mu/. Why is this cover praised so much? It's gotten to the point that any normalfag I talk to will almost shun anyone who thinks this cover isn't superior to the original. It's honestly just not that good.

It's a decent cover.
I personally didn't enjoy it because I like Simon's back vocals better than Garfunkels so the cover lacks my favourite part of the song.

It's musically correct as in there's no wrong notes so it's not objectively bad. Whether or not their interpretation of the song is enjoyable is down to the listener. I don't think it is but I don't think it's shit either.
