ITT: Post a personal 10/10 album and others tell you why it's shit
>>73838301
Every song sounds the same, it doesn't age well.
Although keep in mind that I am in fact a normie faggot.
>>73838361
Enjoyable album with lots of high points ruined by MUH SKITS
Humbug by Arctic Monkeys
>>73838301
Has since been passed by what it inspired.
>>73838361
Remarkably boring and relies too much on the "vulnerability" of Frank's voice.
>>73838417
Not even the best Beach House album.
>>73838471
Not even a top 5 Nick Cave album.
>>73838742
Songs are too short to fully develop any interesting ideas they have.
>>73838402
nigger on the cover
>>73838767
women
>>73838417
low quality, sounds watered down
>>73838767
Not even the best Kate Bush album
>>73838361
i prefer top 40, you just listen to this to be contrarian right?
>>73838742
cant stand the singer, despite the good instrument playing, not very rich audio
>>73838417
brings nothing new to the table, sounds exactly like every album they've ever released (which all sound the same)

>>73838361
Too much of a "trend of the moment" album, far more than channel ORANGE (trap is one of the two worst pop trends of the decade so far)
>>73838471
Damn... this is perfect. Real 10/10
>>73839023
>blonde
>trap
>>73838417
They make the same album over and over again and the songs are all fairly one note
>>73838742
Songs aren't long enough to justify a 2 hour album
>>73839015
Boy needs to not whisper
>>73838361
This is a spot on criticism of this album. One of my favorite from this era, but I definitely agree that most of the songs same the same.
hard mode: no "because Laughing Stock is better"
>>73838471
Not bad by any means but it felt unfinished and slightly incoherent.
>>73838742
The humor's kind of adolescent and after a while you get tired of them not having real singers.
>>73839015
It's just a bit flat, there's no big standouts.
>>73838301
this is legitimately one of the only reasons im alive. i was fucking stupid and the first high school breakup i was near suicidal, which sounds like bullshit but really picture your first breakup try and remember how it feels all the hot blood pulsing through your veins keeping you up at night and she even got married. anyways psychocandy was like a real guiding force in forming my new identity, I don't know how to describe it, it's like such a feeling and attitude and you can live your life like that for a while I wouldn't trade it for anything
>>73838301
Not even their best album.
>>73839023
has one good song the rest boring, not as good as the follow up album
>>73840587
Stop right there
>>73840600
~~~EVERYBODY NEEDS SOME1 TO LIVE BY~~~
>>73838301
I feel like without the noise, a lot of the songs would feel flat.
>>73838417
>oh wow a 17 minute closer I can't wait to hear this dream pop masterpiece!
>>73838767
The string interlude in Houdini feels so out of place and I don't see the purpose of it.
>>73840600
I cannot remember the closer for the life of me. First five songs are very recognizable and then nope.
