What's your favorite music documentary/film?
I just saw No Direction Home about Bob Dylan for the third time and loved it
The Daniel Johnston one or The Beatles Anthology. The Kurt Cobain one for HBO was good but a lot of people said it was full of shit, Buzz being among them.

The Woodstock movie should be required viewing for any fan of that era of rock. 1994 Director's Cut only, of course.
Closer, the Ian Curtis biopic, is probably one of the best I've seen because it does such a good job of trying to stay true to life and not lionizing Ian's suicide
The Last Waltz is the best concert movie ever made

24-Hour Party People is a classic (narrative film based on true story), all about the Manchester scene and focuses a lot on Joy Division and Happy Mondays

Don't Look Back is better
For me it's a tie between This Is Spinal Tap, and The Walk Hard The Dewie Cox Story
