Unless the new ep thing is different cuz I don't really listen to them anymore, the only one where they made a visible improvement was Jenny Death due to its different and more intricate structures present on a few of its tracks.

not sure what you're talking about. From TMS/NLDW to NOTM for example is a big improvement. some parts of Bottomless Pit were an improvement over Jenny Death too. and yes, the new EP is their best work so far. they have only been on the up & up.

DG have been a one step forward two steps back band for awhile. like if you rank their albums by artistic maturity (not necc. quality) you see that they've kind of spiraled up and down album to album
