Why is Kid A considered so innovative when Homogenic came out like 3 years before it?
Same with In Rainbows and Vespertine.
I don't think anyone really thinks Kid A is innovative though. It takes the framework of SAW 85-92 and has everything from Bjork to Talk Talk to Penderecki to Can happening in it.
Because Kid A actually sold

bjork never made a simple pop song like radiohead did creep or bends.
bjork has always been weird. following kate bush steps.

>bjork never made a simple pop song

>>73809636
>bjork never made a simple pop song
ok
because Radiohead was a rock band and going from Ok Computer to Kid A is a drastic stylistic change
>>73809573

btw those songs were released before human behavior
>>73809965
that makes it even worse for bjork. fucking madonna is more invented than her. no wonder kid a got props.
>>73809828
Do they love her more than a rock band?
>>73810105
Rockism doesn't mean "likes rock music."
This is the real proto-Kid A
>>73810170
Not exclusively, but you see my point.
