Releasing music is a hobby that I enjoy doing, no matter how many people give a shit.
Yeah sure, I crave attention, but that's what all of us do. If all of us thought "oh I will never make it, better stop releasing music" then there would be no new artists in the future.
Look at how trap rap is going through a big change, 16-18 years old kids are getting discovered even though they're complete trash.
"Making it" as an artist is 70% luck and taking the opportunity at the right time, and only 30% quality music

You're right though, there is way too much music nowadays with no quality control whatsoever
