Why are Kanye's later albums talked about so much here when his early albums are infinitely more enjoyable?
Because people like talking about new things?
They are.
Because his old albums were merely good hip hop, and his new albums are art

Graduation is his best and the rest are just really really good
>>73802488
fuck u i disagree
>>73802488
Agreed.
>>73802295
Because his old albums go against everything his 2007 and beyond career represents and most of the people on this board are kids, you know, to them Kanye has never been nothing but a nutjob so obviously they won't be interested in his other music
Would you expect someone who was into Butthole Surfers in the 90's to care about their 80's stuff? May as well be different artists

>graduation
>best

I disagree. It's not that people don't care about old Kanye music, it's just it's, you know, old. People want to talk about new things, and the sound Kanye established on the dropout bear trilogy is already solidified in hip-hop. By contrast, his other albums seem more adventurous. Also, don't act like Kanye hasn't always been a bit of a sperg. Everyone remembers "George Bush doesn't care about black people"

LOL

I think Kanye's ability to make a standard hip hop album is really overlooked, if that makes sense.
LR and MBDTF have better lyrics than any Kendrick Album.
That "MARTIN HAD A DREAM" lyric was more fucking embarrassing than any dumb Kanye lyric.
>>73802488
more like bottom 2
>>73802913
The "Martin had a dream" lyric is intentionally cheesy
>whaa I knew you'd say that
Well that's the point of the song. Do you think Backstreet Freestyle is a serious song?
