This album is fucking fantastic and is discussed too rarely on /mu/. Your thoughts on it?
Should I marathon this album for the first time??

yeah but it is over an hour tho

A complete joy to listen to from start to finish, each song has its own sound and mood to it. They cover a lot of ground musically on it too.. something super noisy and heavy like deeper into movies but then they do something soft and sentimental like autumn sweater or Stockholm syndrome. It's really great

my favorite yo la tengo album
most their other stuff is way too comfy
top tier track
- moby octopad
- center of gravity
- my little corner of the world
- one pm again
- autumn sweater

Autumn sweater seems to play in literally every fucking hipster joint. I think a lot of their "country" songs are overlooked, but it's a good record nonetheless.
However, I much prefer "And then nothing turned itself inside out". The jazzy beat combined with a dream-pop aesthetic does wonders.

I remember Yo La Tengo being posted frequently 2 years ago. I think the cool kids talk is hip-hop and such now
child abuse

this board changed a lot since 2015, it's unbelievable.

>he wants ppl to discuss the same fucking albums over and over
the appeal to /mu/ is how discussion changes
fuck off
>>73718245
but the appeal is not if it changes for worse
>>73717090
It's not talked about because I have never been able to dl it. It's not in the archives :(

I'm pretty sure I dl'd it from a regular torrent a few years ago... But if that doesn't work, then try Soulseek
