>Best Selling album of 2017
>Highest rated album overall in 2017
So kendrick really is the greatest of this generation, both commercial and critical success and this album isn't even his best effort.
How can anyone compete?
I've found out recently there are a LOT of redditors who think popularity = quality
It's really pathetic. Like they have no critical thinking and just want to enjoy their shitty music or something.
By getting industry back up from a huge record label like Interscope
>Payola to critics
>Create hipster bait album then create mainstream sell out album
>Bada bing
>Bada boom

He released an album of leftovers and it was still better than anything in most rappers discographies. There isn't anyone on par, and that's very much the consensus apart from this tiny sliver of society occupied by teenagers.

The album was relatively mediocre for kendrick (probably 3rd out of his 4 real albums, beating out Section80), but still absolutely ahead of anything else in the rap game right now, hands down.
Honestly, untitled unmastered could be considered better than this.
