Grand Theft Auto V had a big impact on my taste. Turned me onto Soulwax and synth pop. Radio Mirror Park is GOAT. Even made me realize the joys of listening to pop on the open road

I had never heard of Talk Talk when I first realized I really liked when "Life's what you make it" came on the radio in GTA Vice City. Now Mark Hollis is one of my absolute favorite songwriters.
A little off topic, but you all should check out Shudder to Think. They weren't featured on any of the Tony Hawk games, but they fit into that general classification.
