7/10
if you rapped with the anger presented on blacker the berry could have been a 10/10
but all i got was cnn social commentary.
>caring about mass-market art
See this is the problem with Right wing people, they complain about communist/socialist politics but then refuse to acknowledge the absolutely shitty music they getting from market economy.
>"i don't agree with the politics on this album so 7/10"
shit taste
The music itself is good

It was more about the duality of depression and self-love (aka Kendrick having BPD) than racial commentary. I agree it's overrated but 7 is too low. But GKMC is better anyway so idc

OP you're so full of shit, we can tell you didn't actually listen, or pay attention to the lyrics.
Specifically point out this "cnn social commentary" you speak of, cause there's no of it.
It's all just experience and moments kendrick has been involved in, it never tells you what to think. He just puts out his thoughts and experiences allowing you take and interpret them as you wish.
It's a 10/10 btw.

I think that's a pretty fair way of rating it if the main point of the album is to express Kendrick's views on politics.

>"i don't agree with the politics on this album so 0/10"

how is a 7/10 bad rating?
>>73669067
dont copypaste my work without my permission please

Board is 90% Pitchfork/Fantano drones and also 90% Kendrick shills. Weird coincidence.
>>73669138
>90% Kendrick shills
So liking an artist makes someone a shill? Does that mean this board is 100% Radiohead shills?
>>73669098
Because judging from what you just said you didn't actually understand the album, thus your score is null and void.
>>73670634
can't be null and void if you consider wasting time posting here!
its a solid album but not great perfect.

you're pulling those numbers out of your ass and I feel bad for you that you think this.
you probably wouldn't think this if you lurked on threads other than kendrick and fat tano ones since they're always at the top.
