I've always preferred something a bit out of the box for psychedelic experiences. Le "psychedelic" music sounds too forced and shitty on actual psychedelics to me. So I usually listen to

>classical music
Renaissance, baroque or classicism.

>jazz
Hot on the come up (bebop and shit), cool on the come down (modal, cool jazz, smoke a cig while chilling on the balcony or some shit and feeling the night come, really nice shit)

And maybe some ambient music in-between. But that's about it.
