Why do people pretend to hate this album? Other than trying to be as pretentious as fuck, there's absolutely no reason to dislike OK Computer. I wouldn't even say that it's one of the best albums ever written, sure it's overrated, but it's still a fantastic record. Is there any reasoning other than, "IT'S BAD BECAUSE PEOPLE LIKE IT REEEEEEEEEE!!!!"?
There's nothing much to hate about it but nothing much to love either
Strong 5/10

What would make it a 10/10?
>>73613327
Lmao

It's a kinda ok album dragged down by the lack of good melodies and thom's whiny voice. it would be better as an instrumental album. even pink floyd were superior to radiohead.

(You)
Because it's popular, the only reason you need for an average /mu/tant to dislike something.

This

I thought it was boring at first but mostly because I hadn't really listened to anything like it before and didnt really know how to enjoy it, after a couple more listens I really liked it
>>73613259
"why do people hate this album" uhh people can hate albums you enjoy anon, theyre not pretending
>>73613259
Radiohead's depressive alternative sound appeals to the millennial generation so well, it feels a bit manufactured. They're the band that we can all agree are pretty good. Their universal appeal reminds me a bit of what U2 was to our parent's generation.

Because radiohead fans overrate it greatly, still a good album tho, 7,5/10 is I think a fair rating.
>>73613259
because I don't like rock music and this album doesn't sound special for me
>>73613259
People hate it? I thought everyone loved it.
>>73616158
You would dislike the bends even more then. That album is 100% rock
People can dislike it for whatever reason, why do you care? Why do radioshits care so much about their precious band being universally accepted?
