I've been going thru their discog this week. Float Along is a pretty noticeable shift, and Oddments sounds pretty well different from everything they released before it.

When I discovered it I had it on repeat for weeks. Couldn't get enough of it. Very clever to blend the end to the beginning so you don't even really notice it started over.

i'm pretty sure it's a pasta to say all their albums sound the same at this point. Quarters! is hugely different from nonagon infinity. It is also a very good album, the river & steel sheet flyer is probably gizzards best songs

Yeah, you kind of notice how much they repeat the same guitar chords/sounds and lyrics with each repeat listens. It's fun but I definitely need to take a break from it for it to sound fresh again.
