I'll be honest, Mayday Parade's s/t is unironically a good pop punk album.
So is their EP Tales Told by Dead Friends
Definitely the two best things they've put out and it's really strange how actually good they are

i feel the same way. it feels odd to say, but a lot of their stuff is genuinely good and sitting there listening to it its kind of confusing. like i'm questioning, how is this as good as it i and why are these so well written? it's not usually what you find in a band that goes on tours with bands like sleeping with sirens and pierce the veil, both shit bands

They don't make them like The Get Up Kids anymore but I wouldn't put Mayday Parade anywhere near the WORST pop-punk has to offer, near acts like Falling in Reverse, Escape the Fate, Black Veil Brides, The Used, etc.

My only REAL gripe with Mayday is probably that the lead singer's voice gets pretty monotonous song-to-song, but it's modern pop punk so you can't really have that many reservations about it or else you'll be sorely disappointed.
