This sounds like nothing else and is the pinnacle of their output. Blends genres in an exciting way, eclectic but also singular; as experimental as anything from that time, great song writing and ideas, and Life in a Glasshouse is the greatest thing they've ever recorded
Going through their entire discography right now, only listened to OKC and to tell the truth, radiohead is a pretty mediocre mellow band. Only OKC and Kid A caught my attention, the rests are not worthy enough to named this band as what it is now.

Amnesiac is incredible, but i'm not sure it's better than Kid A

So Kid A is so good that it caught your attention without you even listening to it?

>muh reading comprehension
Wait, let me rephrase it, listened to OKC previously, as of a few hours ago decided to get into their entire discography, albums only and ignoring their EPs and live albums. Started at Pablo which I believe everyone can agree is their worst. I'm at king of limbs and so far OKC and Kid A are worthwhile good albums while the rests are meh...

I think you might be wrong.

Kid A has moments of greatness, and the pure electronic stuff is brilliant, but I think it's actually quite unexciting in parts (Optimistic and Morning Bell do nothing for me) - Amnesiac is Radiohead fulfilling their potential; the scope of their inspirations and genre-warping, the number of interesting compositions, the flirting with Krautrock and Trip-hop and Glitch and Ambient and Funeral Jazz and pure experimental stuff; the complete breakdown of structure; it's the Laughing Stock to Kid A's Spirit of Eden, for my money
does anyone have the reissue 10"? I got a copy but pyramid song sounds absolutely horrid. the drums and vocals are clear as can be, but the piano sounds like a 128kbps rip with heavy clipping.

>Not liking optimistic and morningbell
I guess we just have a different taste
>>73568140
Ok I will admit Amnesiac is their third best, with a power gap in-between OKC and Kid A (can't decide which is the better album)
>>73568137
No, the sentence literally made zero sense.
>>73568084
I'd consider myself a fan of radiohead but i've never really gotten into amnesiac. There's a couple of songs on it that are fantastic, but overall it just feels pretty disjointed, all over the place and like a compilation of B-Sides to me.

>going through their discography right now (present tense)

made sense faggot
>>73568093
you are bad at music
>>73568093
Ok, thanks for this worthless opinion.

They're anons that tried to persuade me into getting more into radiohead such as >>73568140 , what have you done so far?
