I've seen a lot of hate for this band on /mu/ and never understood it until i saw that this song has 57,000,000 views. I thought they were some random band I found on spotify.

Very very similar to the Mazzy Star song for sure though. That's not really a bad thing if we're just looking at the CAS song, but its a little too close to be an homage, so instead it just sounds like a straight bastardization.
