Question for ambient fans, when you listen to an ambient album do you do something else meanwhile, or actually sit down and listen to it? Because the latter is what I do for all music, but ambient is so goddamn sparse my mind just starts going elsewhere and I lose focus. And I'm no ADD either.
Great for listening to while riding my bike or reading a book though.

It depends on the mood I'm in- a lot of times I'll be doing something else while I listen to ambient music and my attention to the music ebbs and flows with the track. Passive listening steeps me in the mood of the album but if the ambient music is super good it can hold up to dedicated listening and still have be feel engaged the whole time
