Newfag here. Just finished listening to the Pavement holy trinity. Was surprised to see that Wowie Zowie got the most mixed reception from critics. At least after a first listen, it was my favorite of Slanted and Enchanted and Crooked Rain.
Pavement thread? Are their other albums worth listening to, and what was I missing on their other two albums? They didn't make nearly as much of an impact on me as Wowie Zowie.

Wowee Zowee seemed like the most "pavement" pavement album to me. Brighten the Corners was probably my favorite just because of the sheer number of catchy songs

I agree. Wowee Zowee is my favorite album by them too. I've never actually listened to Terror Twilight all the way through though.

TT is their weakest album so you're not missing all that much. it has a lot of brilliant moments on it though imo.
