For a while, get away from electronic devices and any other shortcuts for pleasure that you use too frequently.

Find something meaningful to do, that is, something society values (pays for without stigma, even if you don't get paid) that you enjoy doing, and do it for others.

That will renew your ability to experience pleasure from music. And other things, if you're numb.

for me it was a mental thing. for a long time i was convinced i only liked *insert genre here* and anything other than that was immediately crap. It took a while but i realized there is more to good music than what i perceive as good. it was my own mental barriers holding me back from enjoying more music
