Do you want to be more classical? Or more pop? Or do you want to stay where you are?
>>73408268
I want to stay where I am but aside from close friends I can't share with people because my style is always too far away from classical

sounds like film score
>>73408314
That's what my friend said, which I'm fine with. But share film score in /classical/ or /r/composer and they'll complain because it's not atonal and/or Sonata form
>>73408301
What do you mean? If it were more classical you could share w people?
>>73408354
Yeah because you get chastised for not writing aggressively structured, complex music.
>>73408301
That's fair. As a listener I would prefer more stuff happening, but that's my taste, you do what you want. You like Nils Frahm?
And yeah, this is more Soundcloud than /classical/. I wouldn't be surprised to find this stuff in there.

Add layers
>>73408339
>/r/composer
but seriously, just make film score. bring back the songwriter general

Yeah idk I typically listen to fairly complex music but lately I've been making and listening to a lot of very spacey ambient music like Feldman, Eno, Tony Conrad, etc.
>>73408442
Is it posted there normally? I thought those were for Rock, Hip Hop, electronic, etc
>>73408504
I don't want to, I want to keep it to just the piano+pedals

Oh and I'm actually not a big fan of Nils Frahm hahahaha though I think I understand him a lot more now
