Hey /mu/. I've been looking into a drum set for a few weeks and i'm having trouble with which set i want to buy. I'm torn between a PDP CX and a pearl export. Both are around the same price range. I have never bought a drum kit before. I just use some drum sticks i found and play along with the song. What would you recommend, anons?

whatever you do, buy them used and save some much money and use the money saved for new skins.

I can't tell you which one sounds better because that's kinda up to you what sound you like and how you tune them and shit etc. But I will say that I definitely prefer PDP hardware over Pearl hardware (rims, pedals, stands, etc)
