Definately, I was actually surprised at how mediocre the debut was compared to this album

Late Registration had cleaner production, wider range of themes, and better bars. I liked CD, but Late Registration was just a better album.

Explain how The College Dropout was better than Late Registration

Literally the most boring album I've ever heard. And I like Radiohead. For a band that made Kid A to make something as shitty as this is kinda amazing.

Debatable. Both are great albums, definitely his top 2. But CD is more fun and fresh, which helps Kanye because he's never been strong lyrically. CD also feels more focused and cohesive. LR jumps around A LOT on messages and sounds. Also, in terms of historical context, CD completely changed the game, LR only followed it up
