They're pretty darn great. Sophisti-Pop in general is a really good genre when you get into it, and Prefab Sprout were top.

Steve McQueen is great, have not heard anything else. I heard Sam Hyde cried to Paddy McAloon's solo album, is that shit good?

Paddy's solo stuff is great, I think he has two solo albums? Crimson / Red and Let's Change the World With Music. This is an acoustic solo version of Appetite, one of the best songs off Steve McQueen. Paddy's voice is somehow ageless.
