I also should've added my own thoughts in. Even though John was a cunt, I imagine Paul was still very distraught by the news of John's death. His rude reaction was understandable. I don't think he would've liked to have been asked about John's death after it just happened.

I love Paul McCartney. The way he talks and the way he acts reminds me of myself. When my mother died I was chewing a gum, I didn't cry at first, I was numb, I just couldn't believe.
