what did he mean by this?
>>73374493
nothing bad really, there's nothing wrong with electronic music - I make it myself. But sometimes I come across these threads and think why there isn't much more diversity. All in all we're probably from all around the globe

>>73374383
Maybe try to go out there and start a creative space or sth? We have this one place in my hometown which we started - everyone chipped in with some equipment and all in all we have a complete studio that everyone can use for all possible music genres.
If we didn't come up together, that wouldn't be possible - we're not richfags

That's cool as fuck man
it's short and to the point, and done tastefully. Drums and guitar although simple does the song justice. And I dig the singers voice, wish I had the lyrics tho is all. I'm interested to see what you would do with a better recording (although i like how raw the demo sounds). I imagine it would be cool to add like a call and response on the parts like at 1:50-2:00 with all you guys shouting a progression of lyrics or something. Coolio song, I like noise at the end too:D You guys have any other pages?
>>73372772
sounds legit damn
this style of punk i think can be hard to catch peoples eyes with because generally speaking the guitar and drums aren't doing much unique or attention grabbing, just pushing the energy so it puts a lot i think on the vocalist to grab the audience and i think your singer is doing a kick ass job. And don't get me wrong nothings wrong with the drums/bass/guitar, it all sounds freaking tight which is hard af to do. But i think small things make all the difference, and there's a ton of room i think in punk to fuck with tones, small variations, and arrangements to really make something different. Killer song well done
>>73373757
I envy you a fuck ton, wtf dude. Vocals are so good. Drums and guitar are working great together and I love the small progressions they make through the song. The only thing the I personally don't like are some of those higher synth sounding parts at like 1:50, but the lower ones that follow at like 2:08 sound perfect. But that's my opinion and fuck my opinion. Great song

>>73374277

So TLDR to save time and get more done
https://soundcloud.com/cumulostratus
>instrumental
>midnight melodies
>>73375593
yeah, ok. But maybe making music should be quite hard. You know - to appreciate it better. As I've said later - I do electronic stuff too. And yes it is time saving. Although after I make few decent tracks I get the craving to create something with other people. To spend more time on that, sometimes bickering with other m8s, but create something totally different.
>>73375776
I think from a creative stand point it's so much easier to make something new with other people. But you can still do that and not use "live" or "real" or what ever you wanna call it instruments. But I agree with the struggle thing you were saying. There's a lot of dicking around that comes with recording all that shit when you only have so much equipment and knowledge in recording. I think in those situations it's tougher on the musicians to be working with equipment that doesn't "flatter" the instruments being recorded and in the end it's the quality of the song and skill of the players that carry it and not the quality of the sound.I envy people who make kick ass songs with shit equipment. Which is why I think people really like using synths, midis ect. You can plug straight into your computer and get quality sound and you don't need more members or knowledge of how to play multiple instruments necessarily.

>>73380259
Seriously really impressive, love your lyrics. Beats are very good too. Only thing that might need improvement is production, which is very good sometimes (Outta Breath for example) but sometimes the beat or the noise from your microphone overwhelm your vocals a bit.

Really cool atmosphere and I love the bass. I'm not sure what "spicyness" means but I feel like this would sound even better if it was a little more full, and by full I don't necessarily mean a bunch more instruments but like maybe some risers and crashes and maybe more drums. Good stuff though <3

I'm digging the sound you got going on. Kinda reminds me of squarepusher (particularly hard normal daddy) which is a bit closer to my taste cause I like jazzy stuff and breaky stuff. The breaky stuff in your track sounds real neat tho.
At 2:31 there's a new synth but i think the chord it starts with clashes a bit too much with the other notes at that point. You're probably going for a little bit of a clash to keep the tension up but I think there should be a nicer way to do that.
I'm gonna be a bit nitpicky and say that I'd like to hear a bit more variation in the track as a whole but that's mostly a taste thing I suppose.
All in all it's good and you should certainly keep making music.

You are awesome
I love your melodies and your instrumentation is super creative and tight. Mix is really good too, idk how to constructively criticize this, sorry lol

Sounds professional, you clearly have been doing this a long time. Really love the freaky slidy bass and everything about the mix and percussion

Really nice, kinda short though. You could definitely take this melody and beat and vary it and develop it over time to extend the track, there's lots of room for expansion and shit
