I feel like some people overrate this album for the wrong reasons, while a lot of other people underrate it because they don't look at it beyond a surface level. I used to overlook it in his discography because it seemed like surface-level glam trash, but upon re-listening, it's so much deeper than that. The title track and Lady Grinning Soul represent some of the best songwriting he'd ever do.

Ziggy and Low are way ahead of this
Problem with bowie was that most of his songs are so boring musically... 80% of it is repetitive and boring
With a good musician by his side he could have become the greates artist of all time
