Don't know if this even counts as noise since it's noise rock, but it's a good album and it's noisy enough for me.

Reminder Psychic Drift is coming out in like 4 days, is anyone else excited about it?

> The main problem with this record is that, with all of the noise being generated, songs rarely have a central theme. There is nothing to tie them together and certainly no repeated song structure. That is not to say that song structure is necessary, but when a song is entirely chaotic noise there’s nothing that pulls the listener back to it.
>Totem could work for some people, but most will likely find it inaccessible and incoherent.

Were they right, /mu/?

Honestly, if you're into noise, and not just punk or something, I really don't see why you wouldn't like White Suns. They don't have a lot of pop hooks, or anything, and the spoken word parts can be kind of iffy if you're not into them, but the way they approach noise and bass seems fresh and interesting to me.

White suns is a dope band

Noise/noise rock isn't for everyone, so kind of(?)

Threads off to a bit of a slow start. What have my /noise/ anons been digging so far this year? New Dilloway has been treating me well.

not the biggest fan of modern jester, do you think it's an improvement?

I think it is. Definitely on the shorter side but there's a lot of cool decaying rythms that play out and the work as a whole feels strangely cohesive.

cool, I'll check it out, thanks!
