honestly BROCKHAMPTON are killing it right now. Although I have to say the second half of the album was pretty undwhelming for me besides Face, Bump and Milk are pretty samey-samey with the flows. I bet over half of this group gets seriously famous though.

I used to trust /mu/ to offer up good music. I don't trust /mu/ anymore. I've been burned too many times in the last few years by fleetingly popular fads. I pretty much just find stuff on my own anymore, and it almost never liens up with what's going on on this board. Which is kind of annoying because I'd like to talk to people about what I'm listening to, but it's not the latest soundcloud rap and it's not Grimes and it's not Kendrick.

I'm not unhappy with what I've found and have been listening to from this year (and past) for the last 6 months. I don't think it's a joke either. Most of the time I don't even really think of it, because I'm content. I just wish that I could talk to people about what I've enjoyed that hasn't made the /mu/ cut. Also I've found through trial and error I really don't care for most hip hop. Which is a big deal at the moment. I've heard DAMN probably 3 times through from my roommate listening to it, but I haven't sat down and listened to it myself. Probably won't based on what how I felt about it when he was playing it.
