Music should be judged on its musical merits alone, not its lyrical content. Late Registration and College Dropout had that magic blend of amazing musicality + meaningful lyrics. Sure, Kanye's post 808s albums have some of his most memorable songs yet, but his worst and most narcissistic lyrics ever.

This is a good opinion, his latest three are his best. His first two albums are nearly filled with trash songs and his next two have a couple bad ones in each.
