the quiet/loud dynamic meme has been thoroughly explored by nu-metal already and Trent was never good at it. Besides, he did it better on The Fragile and TDS

Also, if you think NTAE is "aggressive as balls", you are a tiny sissy baby who hasn't listened to NIN's 90s output. NTAE has less power and abrasiveness than the average stoner doom album.

That being said it's still a step in the right direction.
