>find some songs in every genre good
>almost every time I find an album with good songs, I will not like the rest of their albums at all
>there is a certain way parts of the song is constructed that produces a certain subjective feeling of micro-euphoria
>don't know enough about music theory to pin down what exactly it is and find more of it
Anyone else know this feel?

post songs so that the non brainlets can figure it out for you

I've put together a little list, I could add more later.

A lot of the songs in this album trigger this feeling, moreso than any other album from Solar Fields. 6:50-7:19 is a segment I really like, as well as 22:36-24:00.

This entire song.
I realize most of these share very similar genres, but this is what I've been listening to recently and what I can give clear examples in right now.
I get this too. My favorite example is in send it up off of yeezus where the beat changes from the really annoying thing to the amazing one

do you mean a bridge?
t.another brainlet

Some of these moments might occur on bridges, but I don't think it's because they're bridges. But maybe bridges tend to use certain combinations of notes that trigger it.
The acoustic part from Yes's Starship Trooper blows me the fuck away every single time and I can never find that right kind of pluckin' good country anywhere else.

Look into bluegrass and classical guitar pieces
>>73184373
I think you just like the sudden increase of volume into walls of sound that occur at those moments.
>>73186253
Maybe. Can you link some moments in other songs where this happens strongly?
Another thing about me and music is that it's never just about the music, I always imagine myself as a kind of director of a movie in my head, and I'm trying to imagine the perfect scene to go along with whatever music is playing, and the more I can get the song to "resonate" with my scenes, the more enjoyable it is to listen to.
Maybe this is the case for most people to some extent, I'm not sure.

its almost acoustic rockabilly
>>73184373
It just sounds like you really love a good reverb/pad/bass doing a lot of work in the background, most times with a sudden synth lead getting active.
I'll try my hardest to fit some songs i think are similar but I don't know if I will be of any help in furthering your exploration. I like essentially a wall of sound in my music so there are a ton of layers going on in a lot of these.

I'm probably going to get made fun of for this but there's something about the way this song sounds.

Minor key synths, stacked hihats that serve as noise, and sub bass, probably one of those or the combination of them is what you like

Dunno why but most of those songs, especially the last one, remind me of Hotline Miami
