What are some sampler options beside pic related? I don't want some 404 or anything like that.
If you cant fuck with a 404, then you shouldnt be sampling.

FL Studio

I don't want it for lo fi hip hop though. Even if anco uses one I just want to have the ability to make stuff all within one device

Want something for on the go
>>73154977
Depends on what you want. I picked up picture related for <$100 from a pawn shop. It makes lo-fi like a fucking champ. If you don't know, go software. Ableton or FL Studio.

Yeah, I've seen some using this on rhythm roulette, if I can't find something I'll check for this one

>make stuff all within one device
>want something for on the go
maybe you should do more research about the 404 because it does both of those things
>>73155183
A laptop.
FL Studio is way more suitable for on the go sampling than>>73155196 u stupido man

Battery powered or just easily luggable? If battery powered isn't necessary, try the new Elektron box.

This looks good.

Is anyone else here hyped for Beatmaker 3? This may be the app that makes beatmaking on ios on-par with a traditional computer.
>>73155306
Sunvox and caustic are available for iOS though
>>73155326
Not a fan of Caustic... has the stink of Android UI all over it. Sunvox is pretty boss, but I don't like the workflow of trackers. Cubasis is my current jam on ios, but it's wonky with project management.
Why do people still use hardware samplers when you can use software samplers? I just don't get this, software can do everything hardware can do, but better and cheaper

The vocoder is fantastic, but you're right it's garbage interface .
>>73155683
One major reason: Sequencer midi jitter and audio latency during live performance. Look it up. Even OSX is garbage compared to a hardware sequencer and sampler combination. Windows and Linux are frankly meme-tier with their audio stack.
