why is this album praised so much on this board? I don't

I didn't see the appeal at first, didn't really even listen to Hip Hop at all but then I watched the Runaway film Kanye made while pretty drunk and it opened me up to it.

Even then it took 3 or 4 listens to fully appreciate each song. Check it out if you haven't.
