DUDE I LOVE THE ARCTIC MONKEYS
>>
>>73098258
thought that was super hans for a second
>>
>>73098272
me too
>>
>>73098258
wall of used-up drug-addled worn-out hack-in-the-first-place shit

other than that, not bad for oasis
>>
>>73098258
Liam's been aping this style of music long before the Arctic Monkeys did
>>
>>73098540
let's be real, oasis proper died back in the 90s. those songs were pretty ace.

everything since has been more or less twaddle.
>>
>>73098258
They've been doing Arctic Monkeys type songs 10 years before they were even a thing lmao. Pleasantly surprised by Angry Potato Man. This shit bumps
>>
>>73098258
how can they make the same track for 20 years and still get away with it this is what i dont get
>>
>>73098258
this shit rocks man!
fuck the potatoes followers
>>
>>73098620
brits have shit taste.

oasis/the gallagher brothers had two hit songs in the US 20 years ago and have been irrelevant here ever since. they might as well be third eye blind.
>>
>>73098258
not a bad pop song. Seems like more of beady eye style music
>>
>>73098620
>how can they make the same track for 20 years
>they
Liam didn't even write the songs in Oasis you nerd

But yeah they do make meat and potatoes condensed versions of 60s - early 80s british invasion/punk/mod rock through a late 80s - late 90s manchester indie lense

They had multiple hit songs in both the 90s and 2000s jfc
>>
>>73098747
ok yes, but wonderwall and champagne supernova are the two biggest and most known by normies. Don't Look Back in Anger is also fairly big but not as universal. Live Forever (and Supersonic, too) are still big with the rock and alternative crowd, but not as much with normies. Never even heard of the other two though.
>>
>>73098792
>They had multiple hit songs in both the 90s and 2000s jfc
yes. we all know that instead of a two hit wonder, they were actually a three hit wonder in the uk.

nobody cares.
>>
>>73098801
Since when do we care how normies feel? The only Radiohead song they like is Creep lmaoooo
>>
>>73098958
normies decide what is and isn't a hit
>>
>>73098747
>only one song in the Hot 100 top 40
>only 2 songs ever in the Hot 100 at all
thank you for proving my point. i mean, jesus, if we're gonna use radio format specific charts then the Third Eye Blind comparison still works. the gallaghers are fucking nobodies here dude.

Most of their singles weren't eligible for the Hot 100 due to lack of physical single release.

How can you say that Champagne Supernova wasn't a big hit?
>>
>>73099167
Compare this with how other brit pop acts did in the 90s LOL
You have to remember the mid to late 90s is when america started sucking post-grunge and nu metal dick. Even for Oasis to have ANY impact is massive
>>
>>73099353
so what you're saying is that they've been irrelevant since the 90s like third eye blind
>>
>>73099353
Sort of. They were honestly pretty big in 1996 and 1997, but just kept fucking up. The final nail in the coffin in the mainstream was Liam on TRL in 2000.

I was expecting it to be laughably bad but it's actually pretty good, maybe his album will turn out fine

UTTER GARBAGE

And this is coming from the original Oasis-pill poster.
>>
>>73098721
>As if the number of hit songs in the US is what makes a band or artist great
Fucking Despacito whihc is probably one of the worst songs of the fucking decade is nr 1 at the billboard at the moment.

Americans should be ashamed.
>>
>>73099167
>the gallaghers are fucking nobodies here dude.
That just proves that Americans are retarded.
