I've never had one so can't fully comment, but the general consensus is that bad trips can be even more beneficial for you, I guess depending on how severe the bap trip is and how you process it.

You can overdose and die on NBOME (which some shitty dealers use as an LSD substitute) but those numbers are in the teens. People giving fentanyl as heroin is the real killer these days.

I have a lot of friends who do acid pretty regularly, they say it doesn't really "change" you, it just makes you think like "what is this like on acid".
I have friends who even take it at work and school and handle it just fine.
It's not that big of a deal. If you want to try psychs without worrying about dying or fucking anything, try shrooms. They're fucking awesome.

I smoked hash last week and I found out that I have low tolerance, and I've been paranoid since then. I had cold sweats every night, I thought someone was watching me. I thought I heard someone was breathing under my bed, but it was me breathing, my body feels so numb that I couldn't feel it was me breathing. I thought I went crazy, i feel like I'm spinning on a chair. The first day was funny, a lot of laughing but after 7 days it's not funny anymore, but I'm getting used to it now. I feel like I have opened something in my mind that I can't close again.

But it's just my hash experience, I don't know about acid, I have pretty low tolerance. But overall pretty funny wouldn't do it again tho.

Just do it OP, I took acid for the first time just last week and had a great time. I've had experiences with truffles and ETH-LAD (an analogue to LSD) before though, so I knew what was coming. I tripped solo, no sitter, home alone, and never had a bad moment. If your friend is willing to tripsit, there's not much that can go wrong really.

(Small trip report in case you're interested)
When I started peaking, about an hour after dosing, I went on my balcony and just enjoyed the view from there and nature itself. Luckily, the weather was really great, blue sky, amazing cloud formations (DUDE FRACTALS LMAO). I've also had some deep thoughts, thinking about my life and stuff like that, didn't have an epiphany or anything though, so I wouldn't describe it as life-changing. Later on I went inside, lay down on my bed and listened to some music on headphones with my eyes closed, this was by far my favourite part of the trip. Music on LSD sounds and feels simply amazing, I loved it. Combined with some closed-eye visuals, the experience was phenomenal. Listened to pic related among others, enjoyed this one the most though. Smoked a bowl later on when I was beginning to come down, still no problems, although the visuals where getting really crazy at this point (in a good way).

Overall, definitely an experience I'd recommend to almost anyone. This was on a dose of 100ug (which is pretty low) btw. Planning another trip soon, this time outside, in the forest or something.
