Name a better 90s rock album. You literally cant (down colorful hill is the only contender)
Down Colorful Hill is much better than this. Rollercoaster is still a 10/10 great album, but it definitely feels like they made a ton of songs and decided
Down Colorful Hill - 10***/10 songs
Rollercoaster - 8/10-10/10
Bridge 5/10-7/10 songs
Though, I agree Down Colorful Hill is the best 90s album.

Tracks 9-12 are noticeably weak. The album could have definitely been cut down by that amount of songs. Bridge has the better version of New Jersey.
Im the only one of my friends who like this....
Easy.
Also, am I the only one who prefers the second self-titled RHP album to the first one? It's less consistent, but when it hits it hits far harder than anything on Rollercoaster.

This is true, nobody needs a piano version of Mistress, and the version of NJ on Bridge is far, far better. Mother is a great track, but it doesn't really fit on the album.
Still think that Rollercoaster > Ghosts of the Great Highway > all the rest of his stuff.

Wow you're really unique!

Robert Pollard is God.

Does Bone Machine count as a rock album, because Bone Machine is much better.

Definitely a top 10, but there are several album you could reasonably argue are better 90s rock albums.
Spiderland Slint
Goat Jesus Lizard
Strangers from the Universe or Mother of All Saints, Thinking Fellers Union
God Ween Satan Ween
Is their any singer that has that wavy baritone voice that mark did on the first few albums?
I know Morrissey is similar but i need more
Slint-spiderland without a question... no contender
