I constantly see this listed as one of the best albums of the 60s, and I like prog rock (Rush, Yes, Jethro Tull).
But I've always been hesitant to pick it up because I couldn't stream it to hear it first. It's /mu/-core and all, but I'd like to hear individual opinions on it.
Its great, listen to it
Pretty good but not a top 5 KC album
>>73077747
It's not their best album but it's the best starting point for KC imo.
>>73077761
I disagree
Red
Lark's
Islands
Discipline
ItCotCK
>>73077747
Just look for a download online or buy it. It's a classic. I loved it the first time I heard it.
>>73077761
I'd say it's in the top 5, but not top 3.
>>73077747
Great starter album for King Crimson
If you love horns and winding melodies you'll love this shit
>>73077781
Your top 5 is the same as mine but I'd swap the order of Red and Discipline and replace ITCOTCK with SaBB
>>73077777
mama mía
what is their best though?
>>73077812
Lark's Tongues.
Also, shoutout to SaBB.

Lark's Tongues in Aspic
>>73077812
For me it's Red, but Lark's is batshit insane in a good way
>>73077747
go fuck yourself
>>73077747
>couldn't stream it
Newfag detected
>>73077957
You're cool faggot
>>73077812
Lizard
>>73077810
Discipline is certainly a much more important and skilled album, showcasing unparalleled musicianship, but the tone of Red is much more pleasant to my ears.
