I typically put an album on the stereo and just listen to it in bed. Sometimes I'll listen to something while doing homework, too.

I used to play a lot of CDs in the car, but lately I've been fine just listening to the radio.

I'll usually play new music while I dick around in overwatch or something, no volume on the game, or driving to hear the vibe of the album.

If it sounds interesting enough, I'll listen to it while not really doing anything else. Normally, the most I do when actively listening to an album is following along with lyrics, if available.

It's literally always on, I can't get away from it. BUT I drove 3 hours the other day by myself without any music. Just silence, it was actually really nice

during my commute to and from the office, and while i'm at the office. i probably get ~10 hours of active listening per day.

cooking, reading comix, drawing, driving. I do like to give my full attention to really dense music

If I haven't heard it before, I try to actively listen. If it's something I like already then I do whatever.

Depending on how much attention particular music is demanding. There's definitely music you need to dive into without distracting on anything else, and then there's "I could listen to this while taking a shit and reading a magazine" kind of stuff.

If the song is good enough usually I just listen to it and do nothing else, maybe read the lyrics along with it. Usually I game while listening and sometimes I clean/organize shit. I do homework when listening, too. It helps me actually do the work and not be distracted.

If I'm at home, unless I'm watching a video/movie, I'm playing music.
If I'm gaming or something I'll play something I know better since I won't be paying much attention to it.

I set aside 2 hours a night to sit in a dark room and do nothing but listen to music.
Suffice to say I have no friends.

The only time I'm not listening to music is when I'm watching a film or show or practicing guitar.

I recently stopped gaming but I would always turn the music off on the games so I could listen to my own while playing.

Cos of my job I don't get as much listening time each day as I used to, but I still listen to music any chance I get.
