aside from california, really good solid album

highlights include the entire second portion of me and your mama, the acoustic guitar at the end of have some love, the entirety of boogieman, the entirety of zombies but especially the chorus and piano, george clinton's help with riot, redbone as a whole, the opening of terrified, baby boy (easily the best song musically on the album), the soloing guitar on the night me and your mama met, and stand tall is pretty good as a whole but i couldn't tell you why

it was pretty disappointing compared to what i was expecting when I first heard the singles. I still revisit redbone and California occasionally though.

Took a few listens but I'm really starting to appreciate it. The sounds are really unique and it's just breath of fresh air to come to back this after listening to the samey new shit that keeps coming out
